Welcome to MUD – a space where experimentation meets artistry.

What began as an exploration of clay bodies, glazes, and new techniques has grown into a love for making larger ceramic forms, especially bowls and platters. These pieces give me space to play with line, texture, and imagery in ways that feel distinctly my own. Some are simply glazed, allowing the form and surface to speak for themselves, while others feature sgraffito, my favorite way of bringing the bold, expressive character of my scratchboard and pen & ink work into clay.

I’m drawn to creating one-of-a-kind pieces. I like following an idea, letting the clay have a say, and seeing where the process takes me. While larger bowls and platters are at the heart of MUD, I also take on select custom and commissioned projects. Whether large or small, each piece is made by hand and intended to bring a little artistry, personality, and joy into the everyday.
